Within Group Digital we set the digital agenda to keep IKEA leading in an uncertain and fast-moving environment. We drive the development, provision and operation of our digital products and services through the use of new and existing technology and agile delivery methods to deliver at pace. In March 2020, IKEA and Alibaba announced the opening of the virtual IKEA store on Alibaba’s e-commerce platform Tmall. The store will offer Chinese consumers access to around 3,800 IKEA products, and offer the same services provided as existing sales channels, including home delivery, assembly and product return.
